Princess Celestia is one of two rulers of Equestria on My Little Pony:Friendship is Magic.

Princess Celestia Costume: Top down....The crown was a purchase from a local costuming store. I bought a crystal gem and painted the back to enhance the purple color The wig was bought online and dyed using Fire Lilly's Cosplay tutorial ([link]§ion=&global=1&q=wig+dye+tutorial#/d2kyi4h) The jeweled necklace was a purchase from Charming Charlies, and was the reference piece for most of the colors of the costume. I used Burda Pattern 8601 for the corset, and made it with bridal satin and pleated chiffon, with the beautiful lace laurels heat bonded on. All the swirls were hand painted, then I went back and heat applied every single sparkly gem. The trim is pink lace topped with gold braid. The wings were the ones I had originally done for Angel!Panty, but I redid them to have the extended wing look. I referenced JiaJem's tutorial for wings ([link]). The skirt was made from The Green Pepper's Ice Skaters pattern. The under skirt is bridal satin, and the tiers were made from chiffon, with a lace trim applied. Each tier was made with fishing line rolled in them hem to give it more flounce. Both arm and leg bracers were made from heat shaped craft foam with stretch vinyl over it. The gold filigree pieces are heat shaped craft foam that had the gold stretch vinyl meticulously glued on.

.....I actually like Princess Celestia! I, personally, view her as a kind, strong Princess with a bit of a playfully mischievous side. I know most people of MLP fandom view her as a bad person and a troll....but I just don't see it. I really hope the third season gives her an episode to show her side of things, I know she's got it in her to be an amazing character!
