The Sailor of Love, herself, Sailor Venus! Fun, flirty and athletic...how could I pass on this character? I can't wait for the Sailor Scouts to be renewed so I can have more scouts to play with!

Sailor Venus Costume: This was made from a Green Pepper pattern from Jo Anns. (The Ice Skater pattern). The leotard is white spandex (doubled up, since it was a little thin...), the top skirt was satin, and the bottom skirt was chiffon. I found a wig at a costuming store (I think it's style was named Jewel) that had the right length and color! The brooches and accessories were bought online from Catzia's online website ([link]). The bows were redone with interfacing to give them more structure, and the boots were topped with a yellow ribbon.

I completely forgot how fun a character Sailor Venus is to cosplay and can't wait to do it again! I had to throw the boots out, since somehow they got shredded up in storage.
